(KLZA)-- Write-in candidate Ronald Seitz defeated Republican candidate Kay Laun for the Second District Commissioner seat in Pawnee County Tuesday. Seitz received 216 votes to 191 for Laun.
Elected to the Pawnee City Council was Charlie Hatfield ( 193) and Mark Sunneberg Jr. (178). John Wissler received 168 votes. Gale Nutter who announced he would not serve if elected received 77 votes.
Elected to the Lewiston School Board were Dylan Little with 169 votes, Aaron Rule with 161 and Dennis Schuster with 147. Larry Husa had 138 and Jeffrey Bacon 86.
Wayne Schulenberg, John Kostecka Jr and Melissa Freeman were elected to the Table Rock Village Board.
59 percent of the Pawnee County registered voters cast ballots in the election.
