(KLZA) -- District 1, Nemaha County Nebraska Republican voters cast 178 votes for incumbent Bob Hutton Tuesday in the primary election to 118 for challenger Jim Winkelman.
In the November General Election Hutton will be challenge by Democrat Robert Heidzig of Auburn.
In the Auburn School Board race the top six of the eight candidates advance to the November General Election. Incumbent Beth Kernes Krause received 612 votes, Laura Osborne was second with 473, Ryan Jones was third with 368, Denise M. Licktieg was fourth with 344, Billy Chapin was fifth with 287 and Shawn Phillips was sixth with 257 votes.
Lynsey Schmidt received 204 votes and Greg Cook 131.
In Johnson County Republican voters cast 132 votes in the 1st District Commissioners race for incumbent Scotty Gottula. Michael J. McPHerrin received 101 votes and Elijah Lade received 32 votes.
In the Republican race for Johnson County Treasurer Nadine Beethe defeated Lisa Schmidt 396 votes to 349.
