(KAIR) -- A Lancaster City Councilman has filed for re-election.
According to the Atchison County Clerk’s Office, Gilbert Burton filed Thursday morning.
He joins Mayor Tim Callahan in filing for office.
All positions in Lancaster are up for re-election.
Also, Dale Small filed Wednesday for re-election to Muscotah City Council.
He joins Mayor Lester Thacker, who filed last week.
Citizens in communities without City Hall’s interested in filing can do so in their County Clerk’s office until January 22nd at noon.
