(KAIR) -- The Kansas Primary elections are just under two weeks away and candidates are making their final campaign stops around the region.
One of the Atchison County primary races is for the Register of Deeds.
Two Republicans will face off August 7th.
Current Register of Deeds employee Tammy Weir is seeking the office being vacated by retiring Register Marlene Wagner.
Weir outlines her goals for office if she gets the Republican nomination for November.

The winner of the primary will take on rural Atchison Democrat Katie Vollmer in the November General Election.
Vollmer is currently unopposed on the Democratic ticket.
