(KAIR) -- The annual Cray Lecture at Benedictine College in Atchison will feature Rodney F. Ganey, Ph.D., founder of Press Ganey Associates, as its speaker this year.
Sponsored by Benedictine's Cloud L. Cray Center for Entrepreneurship, the talk is set for Monday evening at seven in the McAllister Board Room on the fourth floor of Ferrell Academic Center.
His presentation, “Starting and Building a Successful Business: A Case Study,” will focus on the startup and growth of his company, along with exit strategies.
In 1985, he and Irwin Press, Ph.D., another professor at Notre Dame, founded Press Ganey Associates to measure and improve customer satisfaction with health care organizations. In 1996, Dr. Ganey left the university setting to grow and develop the company full time.
Today, over 60 million households in the United States receive surveys from Press Ganey and over 50 percent of all hospitals in the country use Press Ganey to measure the quality of their services and monitor improvement efforts.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Cloud L. Cray Center for Entrepreneurship, established at Benedictine College in 1996, is dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship across the curriculum, assisting area businesses, and educating future ethical business leaders through unique opportunities.
