(KAIR) -- Several teams will be scavenging around Atchison for several hours Saturday morning as a fun way to raise money for non-profits.
The 8th annual Atchison area United Way “Amazing Race” will begin at nine at the Heritage Conference Center.
Executive Director Terry Knopke explains where the money raised from the event goes towards.

As of Friday, 14 teams have already signed up, which is a record.
Knopke says they will accept more until the end of business Friday.
The number to register is 367-6510.
