Atchison Community Health Clinic Expands Services
08/27/2012

(KAIR) -- The Atchison Community Health Clinic will be expanding their services.

Beginning Tuesday, the clinic will start seeing patients from nine to three every Tuesday and appointments will be accepted.

One provider will be on hand to treat chronically ill adult patients.

On September 14th, adult dental patients will begin to be able to make appointments one Friday a month after the Board of Directors deemed adults without dental insurance and those with Medicaid are a priority in the Atchison area.

Appointments will continue on Monday and Thursday evenings, as well as periodic pediatric dental patient appointments.

The non-profit agency notes they do not turn away patents due to inability to pay.

They also request that patients with insurance and/or those who are not within federal poverty guidelines to seek medical treatment from another source.
