(KTNC)--The Richardson County Clerk's office is reminding voters of some important deadlines in advance of November's election.
The deadline to register to vote for those who have not yet registered is Friday, October 24. Voter registration is done at the County Clerk's office during regular business hours. The office will remain open until 6:00 p.m. on October 24 for voter registration.
Voter registrations will also be accepted at the Humboldt City Clerk's Office, during regular business hours, through October 17.
Those who have moved or changed their names due to marriage should make those changes before October 24, though those changes can be made at the polls on election day by voting a provisional ballot.
Early voting in Richardson County can be done in Room 203 of the Courthouse in Falls City. Voters can have early voting ballots mailed to them by filling out an application or sending a written request to the County Clerk's Office.
Early voting ballots can also be picked up in-person and voted at the County Clerk's office through November 3.
Application forms for early voting ballots are available on the Richardson County website, www.co.richardson.ne.us.
Contact the Richarson County Clerk's office for more information on voter registration and early voting.
