(KLZA)-- The Falls City, City Council this week approved Planning Commission recommendations for a plat of the Hamilton Addition, which is south of 7th Street on Chase Street on property owned by the Railroad.
The Council voted unanimously to waive the $100 building permit fee for the Falter Museum at the corner of 17th and Stone Street. The work is scheduled to begin soon to renovate the building with an opening planned in November.
Also approved was use of streets and Stanton Lake Park for a fun run / walk to promote Women’s Health on September 20th sponsored by the Therapy Department at Community Medical Center.
2014-15 fiscal year dues were approved for the annual Southeast Nebraska Development District membership at a cost of $2,125 and housing dues of $1,298.
Three housing rehab projects were approved all at a cost of $24,995.
