( KLZA ) The Falls City, City Council meets Monday night at 7 p-m.
The final agenda item is the resignation of Second Ward Councilman Ryan Rieschick who will be moving out of Falls City.
Other agenda items include discussion on a health insurance renewal recommended by the Health Insurance Committee. EDGE Executive Director Beckie Cromer will present the organizations second quarter report to the Council.
Discussion on referring a blight and substandard draft amendment to the Planning Commission for recommendation will be held. A request to hire attorney Mike Dunn to prepare the necessary documents for annexation of land by the City will be discussed and a recommendation to award three contracts for Community Development Block Grant projects will be heard.
Utility Superintendent Alan Romine will meet with the Council to discuss a Board of Public Works recommendation to hire Charles Sargent Irrigation for test wells and accept a bid of $23,650.
Several requests for special designated liquor licenses at Prichard Auditorium will be discussed. One for August 11th, one for August 18th and one for December 31st.
