The city of Atchison is prepared to get the process rolling in establishing the 2013 budget.
Atchison City Commissioners will hear the process calendar at their next meeting Monday afternoon at 4:30 in City Hall.
City Manager Trey Cocking says there are several dates in the next few months the public should watch out for and possibly give feedback at.

Commissioners will also look to accept a bid to replace concrete at the Santa Fe Depot.
Cocking says this came from problems that arose years ago.

Commissioners will also look to set May 7th as a public hearing for a unilateral annexation of properties in south Atchison.
They will also look to amend rules and regulations for tow trucks.
There will also be a joint city/county meeting on March 19th after the regular Atchison City Commission meeting at Benedictine College’s Ferrell Academic Center to continue discussion on solid waste rfp.
