Nebraska Girls Sub-District Action Begins Monday

Nebraska High School Girls participating in classes C-1, C-2, D-1 and D-2 will begin sub-district tournament action on Monday.
    In Class C-1 sub-district 1, Auburn is the top seed with a record of 18-3. The Bulldogs will play Tuesday in the semi-finals against the winner of Monday’s 7 p-m game between 4th seed Lincoln Lutheran and #5 seed Falls City.
    Syracuse is the #3 seed and will take on #2 seed Lincoln Christian Tuesday night at 7:30 p-m.
    The Class C-1, sub-district 1 tournament will be played in Johnson.

    In class C-2 area teams will participate in both the sub-district 1 tournament at Beatrice and in sub-district 2 at Auburn.
    Monday at 7 p-m 4th seed Johnson County Central will take on #5 seed HTRS at Beatrice. The winner will play top-seed Freeman at 6 p-m Tuesday. Tri County is the #2 seed and Southern in the #3 seed in sub-district #1.
    In sub-district #2 at Auburn top seed Weeping Water will take on #4 Palmyra at 6 p-m Tuesday followed by #2 seed Johnson-Brock taking on #3 Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:30 p-m.
    In Class D-1 Sub-district #1 at Wilber-Clatonia on Tuesday #1 Friend takes on #4 seed Pawnee City at 6:15 p-m Tuesday. At 7:45 p-m #2 seed Exeter-Milligan will take on #3 seed Diller-Odell.
    In Class D-2 Sub-district #1 at the Norris Middle School, #4 seed Lewiston plays #5 Parkview Christian Monday night at 7 p-m. The winner will advance to Tuesday night action against the top-seeded Sterling Jets at 6 p-m. Second seed Falls City Sacred Heart will take on #3 seed Mead at 7:45 p-m on Tuesday night.
    All of the sub-district finals are scheduled for Thursday the 16th.
