(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners have adopted a cash out option under the Section 125 Cafeteria Plan for health insurance.
The Nebraska Association of County Officials Benefits Group advised the Board that if an elected official or employee opts out of the county health insurance coverage; Will be reimbursed $340 per month which is subject to withholdings; They will need to provide proof of other coverage; Will forfeit the $15,000 life insurance policy; Will forfeit LTD/ADD benefits and the County does not guarantee readmission to its health insurance plan.
County officials met with the Board to further discuss the County Handbook; a public hearing date was set for December 8th at 9:15 a-m concerning a petition by Pawnee County residents regarding the South Fork Pioneer Cemetery.
An interlocal agreement for Shared Resources between Pawnee and Johnson counties was also approved.
