(KLZA)-- The Falls City, City Council will meet Monday night at 7 p-m.
Agenda items include discussion on the Mayors appointment of Anthony Nussbaum as a 4th Ward Councilman.
The Council will discuss an exchange of real estate for the purpose of constructing a horizontal collector well south of Rulo. In a related item, the Council is expected to approve petitioning Richardson County to allow the City to subdivide into two tracts, land owned by the City east of the water treatment plant facility south of Rulo.
Julie Bauman, CPA is to present information on the 2013-14 Fiscal Year audit to the Council.
Bruce Walker is scheduled to address the Council about allowing alcohol permits for public property. Ward I Councilman Don Ferguson has placed an item on the agenda about discussing with the Nebraska Department of Roads the possibility of renaming Old Highway 73 through Falls City.
A request from Casey’s Retail Company to expand the dimensions on their liquor license to include their new addition to the building will be discussed.
A number of requests for favorable comment on special designated liquor licenses for events at Prichard Auditorium coming up this spring will also be reviewed.
