Traumatic Brain Injury Seminar in Atchison Wednesday

(KAIR) -- An expert in traumatic brain injuries will be speaking in Atchison Wednesday afternoon and evening.

That’s Diane Nielsen with K-State Research and Extension.

TBI affects nearly 102 million people a year.

Nielsen says Dr. Debra Sellers with the K-State School of Family Studies and Human Services will be at Atchison Elementary School conducting two sessions.

The repeat sessions will be at four and 5:45 Wednesday and are free and open to the public, thanks to the sponsorship of Atchison Hospital, Atchison Recreation Commission and Atchison Public Schools.

Attendees are asked to enter from the southwest entrance of the elementary school.
