(KAIR) -- An Atchison Community Blood Center Drive meets their goal of usable units.
According to Drive Coordinator Virginia Voelker, the drive obtained 40 units of all blood types, surpassing their goal of 35.
She also wanted to thank the community for coming out to give, citing the busyness of the holidays and the historical lower turnout in the winter season.
