(KAIR) -- Legendary football Coach Lou Holtz visited Benedictine College to deliver the convocation address to freshmen Tuesday morning.
President Steve Minnis said the theme for Convocation for this year was “Stand firm in the faith, be courageous and be strong,” taken from first Corinthians.
Minnis then introduced Holtz, who spoke for just under 25 minutes to the crowd of nearly 14 hundred.
One of his first messages to the new students was that life is not complicated.
