(KAIR) -- Man’s best friend will get a chance to cool off and show their skills at the third annunal “Soggy Doggy Day” at the Atchison Lions’ Pool Sunday afternoon.
The event will take place from one to four and several special services will be offered, including microchipping your dog.
Atchison Animal Control Officer Tanna Ross explains.

Also, a Kansas City photographer will be at the event to offer photography services for you and your pet.

The event is “Olympic” themed with gold silver and bronze medals given out to the winner.
The event is a free will donation.
In case on inclement weather, the event will be re-scheduled for September 1st.
