The Marching Falcons were among the activities for the hundreds of people from the region estimated to attend the seventh annual Juneteenth festivities in Atchison.

Juneteenth Royalty for this year included the late Carolyn Allen, Jack and June Bower, Arthur Bratton, Lorretta and Naomi Downing, Jesse Greenly, Kathryn and Frank Ross and the Reverend Claude Webb.
