The Pawnee City, City Council, has a lengthy agenda for its meeting Monday evening. The council will meet at City Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The council will meet with Sheriff Jayme Reed at 7:35 to review the law enforcement agreement with Pawnee County. The county is proposing a six percent annual increase in the contract for the next three years.
Lola Seitz and Linda Bowman will present the Library’s Annual Statistical Report.
The council will consider setting a public hearing for May 29th on a request to vacate a portion of K Street. Consideration will also be given to a request from SchillingBridge and the CDBG Reuse Committee that the city release the current first lien position of the investment house at 847 4th Street.
Discussion is scheduled on updates to the employee handbook, nuisance properties, a sewer main problem, and the city’s chip-and-seal project.
The council is also expected to set up a committee to review applicants for the part-time city office clerk position.
