Mound City Man Arrested on Drug Charges

A Mound City man faces drug charges following his arrest Monday evening. The Missouri State Patrol says 28-year-old Mathew Grover was arrested shortly before 7:30 Monday evening, following a search of his residence in the 700 block of High Street in Mound City. The search involved officers from the Missouri State Patrol, Holt County Sheriff’s Department, Mound City Police, and the Drug Strike Force. Grover was charged in a warrant with a Class-B felony count of distribution and manufacturing of a controlled substance. He was being held in the Holt County Jail with bond set at $75,000. Holt County Sheriff Scott Wedlock says officers searched Grover’s residence following information obtained during an ongoing investigation.
