Kirkendall Sworn In by Mayor Oliver
(KLZA)-- Jerry Oliver was sworn in as Mayor of Falls City Monday night. Oliver was elected in November. He has served as Council President the past several years.
Also sworn in Monday night was Don Ferguson as 1st Ward Councilman and John Vaughn as Ward III Councilman.
Judy Murphy was elected Council President and Ferguson was elected Acting President of the Council.
In other business the Council approved the Mayor’s appointments of Gary Jorn as City Clerk / Treasurer / Administrator, Duane Armbruster as Chief of Police and Michael Dunn as City Attorney.
The appointment of Jonathan Kirkendall to serve as a Falls City Police Officer was approved. Kirkendall was sworn in following his appointment.
