Input Sought on HTRS Superintendent Search

(KLZA)-- The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer School Board has accepted the resignation of Clint Kimbrough as Superintendent of Schools, affective at the end of the current school year.

The Board is working with the Nebraska Association of School Boards in searching for the next Superintendent at HTRS.  The Board is seeking input from patrons, parents, students, staff and administrators in the search for a quality and competent administrator to lead the district.
The NASB has scheduled a visit to Humboldt on Tuesday, October 21.  The HTRS School Board invites staff and the community to participate in the visit and share personal thoughts regarding the district and the superintendent position. They are seeking suggestions pertaining to skills, qualities, or characteristics the candidates might possess in order to be successful in the role of superintendent at HTRS.
Questions being asked include: What are the strengths and achievements of the HTRS school district and community?  hat critical issues will the district face in the next three years?
What background / training / experience should the new superintendent posses?
What leadership style and personal attributes are important in the new superintendent?
