(KLZA)-- A few years ago the HTRS Booster Club started raising funds to be used for a weight room / fitness center they wanted to see built on the north side of the school in Humboldt.
Tere have been many fundraisers toward the project in recent years. During that time, the idea for a weight room / fitness center grew to include classrooms, storage room, a wrestling practice room and even a new hallway and entrance on the west side of the building.
Now that the project has been officially approved by the HTRS School Board, the HTRS Booster Club Tuesday night presented a check for $80,000 to be used toward the addition.
April Binder, President of the Booster Club presented the check.
