(KLZA)-- The Falls City Council has approved wages for management, non-union and part-time employees for the new fiscal year. The increase is 2.5 percent for most. The increase for part-time and seasonal workers is 25-cents per hour and the pool manager will receive a lump sum of $50.
City Administrator Gary Jorn will receive a pay increase amounting to $1,852 making his salary $69,200. Chief of Police Duane Armbruster will receive a $1,500 increase to $61,500 and Utility Superintendent Alan Romine will receive $1,829, brining his salary to $68,343. The Deputy City Administrator position will be a new hire. The salary will begin at $42,500.
The Assistant Police Chief will receive an increase of 66-cents per hour to $27.16 and hour and the Non-Union Dispatcher will receive an additional 45-cents per hour up to $18.42 per hour.
Part-time workers will receive $9.50 per hour, the part-time police officer position will pay $17.25 per hour, part-time fire truck drivers will receive $10.99 per hour for their first 5 years then $15.62 per hour after that.
The Pool Manager salary will be $2,020 and the Assistant pool manager will receive $10.25 per hour.
