Area Graduation Ceremonies Set for This Weekend

(KAIR) -- Several area high schools will host their commencement ceremonies this weekend.

Maur Hill- Mount Academy will be graduating 40 seniors on Saturday.

The day will begin with the Baccalaureate Mass at 9:30a.m. in the St. Scholastica Chapel at Mount St. Scholastica monastery.

Immediately afterwards, Commencement will take place in the Maur Hill-Mount Academy Gymnasium.

Sister Anne Shephard, O.S.B. will deliver the commencement address this year.

Von Huber, son of Tom and Monique Huber, will deliver the Valedictorian Address.

Atchison High School will graduate 108 seniors on Saturday afternoon at two at the Amelia Earhart Stadium.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be in the Atchison High School gym.

ACCHS in Effingham will graduate 59 seniors on Sunday afternoon at two the high school gym.

Jefferson County North will graduate 36 seniors on Saturday afternoon at two at high school gym.

Montgomery Baker-Sales and Alexandria Schneider will deliver the valedictorian addresses.

Pleasant Ridge High School in Easton will graduate 59 seniors on Sunday afternoon at two at school gymnasium.

Rachel Lanter will deliver the valedictorian address.

Oskaloosa Public Schools will graduate 34 seniors on Sunday afternoon at three at high school gym.

Erin Bowser and Taylor Willits will deliver the valedictorian addresses.
