(KAIR) -- It will be art and goods galore this weekend in downtown Atchison and the Atchison Riverfront.
It starts Friday over the course of the day with Pop-Up body art showing up throughout the day in downtown Atchison.

That’s Atchison Art Association Executive Director Deborah Geiger and artist Christy Harris.
Harris and Geiger say the festivities continue on the Riverfront on Saturday with the Open Air Fair from 10 until five.

Other demonstrations include an open pit glazed pottery firing within the banks of the Missouri River, a sideshow fire performance from Lithium and Englewarp, the Treeslayer chainsaw artist and mycologist Carla Wick.
This weekend’s events replace the longtime Atchison Art Walk, which usually occurred at this time of the year annually.
