(KAIR) -- Benedictine College in Atchison will honor Pope Benedict XVI with a day of prayer and an all-school Mass Thursday, his final day as pope.
Mass of Thanksgiving for the Pope will be at 12:15 in the Abbey Church, followed by a memorare prayer with candles being placed beside a picture of the Pope.
St. Benedict’s Abbey, which is adjacent to the college campus, will ring its bells at 1:00 p.m. for 10 minutes, corresponding to 8:00 p.m. in Rome, which is the official end of his Pontificate.
