(KAIR) -- An Atchison couple is in a process of a two month visit in Guatemala in an effort to improve education in the country.
Jack and June Bower began their journey in early January.
We spoke with the Bower’s via Facetime webcam Thursday.
They joined us from a public Wi-Fi hotspot, since internet access is very minimal in the country.
June says the trip has been one she’s taken for the last several years.
