(KAIR) --- A Union Pacific railroad crossing repair project will cause lane closure on a state highway going through Atchison on Wednesday.
According to K-DOT, Southbound K-7/U.S. 73 (10th Street) just south of Main Street in will be closed between 7:30 and four, weather permitting.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via signage and cones.
A marked detour will be provided. Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on the northbound side of the roadway.
Drivers should expect some delays and may wish to use alternate routes during the lane closures.
