(KAIR) -- Crews continue on debris removal from the first part of the old Amelia Earhart Bridge in Atchison.
Kansas Department of Transportation Spokesperson Kim Qualls says crews will continue to focus on that part of the bridge for the next few months, as well as the tie-in work from the new bridge to U-S 59.

Qualls says there’s currently no timetable for the completion of the tie-in from U-S 59 to the new bridge.
She also says the recent winter weather has slowed debris removal.
