(KAIR) -- MGP has announced the retirement of five longtime employees effective at the end of this month.
Recognized for their service to the company during a special reception on Wednesday, the retirees are Dennis Peuker, Leonard Stirton, LeRoy Schoenfelder, Ray Scott and Dan Durkin.
They have a combined total of 176 years of employment with the company.
Peuker has spent 43 years with MGP while Stirton began his employment with MGP as a laborer in 1973.
Hired as a mechanical journeyman in the company’s maintenance department in 1977, Schoenfelder has logged 35 years of employment with MGP.
Scott joined MGP as a laborer in 1978.
Durkin, who also serves as a mechanical journeyman in the maintenance department, became employed at MGP in 1987.
