(KAIR) -- The final charitable event for the Atchison County Sheriff’s Reserves sets a record in an effort to give Atchison youth a brighter Christmas.
According to Reserve Chandra Martin, the 501c3 organization was able to give toys to 275 kids this weekend at their annual kids Christmas party.
The group will be disbanding effective at the end of the year for various reasons after being active for nearly 18 years.
