(KAIR) -- The various science departments at Benedictine College are sponsoring a “Spooky Science Fun Bash” for children on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 in Westerman Hall, located on the academic quad on top of the bluff on the college campus in Atchison.
The students and faculty of the Departments of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Engineering, Nursing and Physics are working together to bring some fun science displays to Atchison youth.
According to Dr. Terry Malloy, chair of the Biology Department, there will be a wide variety of displays and demonstrations, including The Ghost of Einstein, The Blob, a Haunted Chemistry Lab, a Magic Wand, Dancing Laser Lights, and much more.
The evening will also include face painting, mask making, crutch races, beanbag zombies and a scavenger hunt.
The event is free and open to the public.
