Atchison Middle School Students Run to Support School Programs

         Atchison Middle School students raced down 5th Street and along River Road Friday) afternoon— forming a wall of several hundred enthusiastic runners running to raise money for school programs.

Atchison Middle School Principal Bryon Hanson says students collected pledges and donations prior to the race…

            Hanson did not have final pledge totals as of Friday afternoon, but said their goal was to raise 3-thousand dollars.
            Hanson says student participation was high, and that they plan to do the race again next year.
