(KAIR) -- Thousands braved the cold temperatures over the course of Saturday to listen to the musical entertainment, check out the crafts and eat authentic food in Atchison for the annual Oktoberfest.
One of the more noted staples of the festivities is the German food served by the United Methodist Church.
That included bratwursts, sauerkraut and German potato salad.
Booth Chairman Rob Bulk says it takes a great deal of preparation to organize one of the events more popular booths.
