(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council Monday night approved salaries and set vehicle allowance for the 2012-13 fiscal year for management positions in the City.
Pay increases of 2.25 percent were approved for:
City Administrator, Clerk/Treasurer Gary Jorn making his salary $65,706 annually;
Deputy City Administrator, Clerk/Treasurer Carol Bentley making her salary $49,733;
Police Chief John Caverzagie making his salary $62,765;
Utility Superintendent Alan Romine making his salary $64,892.
Council members also approved the same wage increase for the Assistant Police Chief making the wage $25.85 per hour and for the Non-Union Dispatcher, increasing the hourly wage to $17.53.
Wages were also set for part-time utility , street and cemetery workers at $9 per hour; part-time Certified Police Officers to start at $16.75 per hour; part-time Dispatchers will start at $10.46 per hour; part-time Fire Truck Drivers will start at $9.50 an hour; the part-time Library Aid will be paid $8.84 per hour.
The Swim Pool Manager will be paid $1,920 per month; Assistant Swim Pool Manager $9.75 per hour; Head Lifeguard $8.75 per hour; Lifeguards $8.10 an hour; Water Slide Guard $7.25 an hour; Concessions Manager $8.00 per hour and Concessions/Admissions Worker $7.25 per hour.
