(KAIR) -- All veteran, Patriot Guard Riders, area law enforcement and firemen will be invited to a “Salute to Veterans” this evening prior to the homecoming game at Maur Hill Mount Academy.
They will meet at 6:15 at Guy Galley Field on the MHMA campus and stage north of the football field in the lower paved parking lot.
The ride meeting will take place at 6:40 and then they plan to enter the field and do a salute lap around the track and then be part of a brief ceremony to introduce a new national flag honoring and remembering all who have served and still do, in all wars and conflicts.
Interested parties are encouraged to contact Patriot Guard member Chuck Trotter at 785-969-1314.
