(KAIR) -- Atchison County Commissioners gave concerned citizens in attendance Wednesday some clarity on the solid waste fee discussion.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says the 72 dollar fee per residence is currently a cap, and can be adjusted.

Schuele says he and Budget Analyst Chase Brunick will continue working scaling back the early numbers produced from the budget over the holiday weekend.
Commissioners will also hold a special meeting Tuesday starting at 9:15 to continue budget discussion as they will not be meeting Monday due to the Labor Day holiday.
