08/21/2012

(KAIR) -- MGP recently hosted a special luncheon and program honoring four individuals for their service to the company.

Honorees were Kim Lewman, who was recognized for her 30 years of employment with MGP, and retirees Lynn Field, David Pellersels and Lonnie Dudley.

Upon joining the company in 1982, Lewman began her career as a lab technician.

She transferred to MGP’s finance and accounting department four years later, assuming responsibilities for accounts receivable functions.

She became customer service manager for the company’s starch division in 1997 and was subsequently promoted to her current position as sales order processing manager.

Field started as a laborer at the company in 1975.

He became an operator in the distillery’s shipping and receiving department in 1996 and remained in that position until his retirement.

Pellersels began as a mash processing operator in the Atchison distillery in 1995 before being named manager of the company’s waste water treatment operations, a position he held for last 12 years.

Dudley joined MGP as a boiler operator in 2002.

He became a purchasing assistant for the company in 2003 and during that same year was promoted to site buyer in the purchasing department until his retirement.
