(KAIR) -- Several individuals are displaced from their homes after an Atchison apartment fire.
Atchison Fire Captain Ted Graf says crews responded to the Terrace Hills apartment complex around 8:20 Sunday evening after a call of smoke coming from the roof.

Graf says three apartments received water damage and two had smoke damage.
The Atchison area American Red Cross was on the scene to assist the displaced occupants of the five apartments.
Director Kim Botorff says they are providing the victims with things ranging from shelter to laundry services.
