The trend of new businesses opening in Atchison continues, as they add a new locally-owned restaurant.
Mr. G’s opened for business this week in a former coffee shop location at 1710 Main Street.
It’s being considered as a satellite location of the Cedar Ridge Restaurant as its owner; Sue Ann Bell says the concept for the name Mr G’s has a personal significance.

They bring a unique approach to business as all of their prices have tax included and are rounded in 25 cent increments.
They also offer a deposit program called “G-Bucks,” which operates a declining cash balance account, designed in part by an intern from Benedictine College.
Bell says this options makes ordering to-go easier.
