05/14/2012

Two Auburn men were arrested on drug-related charges after Auburn police responded to a disturbance last Friday evening.  Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 2200 block of M Street in Auburn at about 7:15 p.m. Friday.
Police Chief Kris Baker says while they were investigating the disturbance, officers located and seized methamphetamine and marijuana, along with several items of drug paraphernalia.
Forty-seven year-old Jeffery Minner and 40-year-old Casey Minner were arrested at the scene.  Initial charges include felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of third-degree domestic assault.
Auburn Police later obtained a search warrant for the Minner residence, where Baker says they seized more methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, as well as pharmaceutical drugs.
