Jefferson County has a new Deputy Director for 911 Communications.
After an executive session by Jefferson County Commissioners at Monday’s regular meeting with 911 Director Susan Newell, Commissioners appointed Sherri Mabary to the position.
A tornado drill will take place Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the courthouse.
Emergency Management will be monitoring the drill and the public in the building at the time will be invited to participate.
