The Falls City, City Council meeting will begin at 7 p-m Monday evening. Fourth Ward Councilman Brad Campbell is expected to tender his resignation because he is moving out of the fourth ward.
Public hearings on three resolutions to levy special assessments on real estate will be held. Ordinances on fiscal management, contracts and purchases, bidding and other requirements and the fuel gas code will be discussed.
A resolution on a contract with Southeast Nebraska Development District for management services for $25,000 and lead paint hazard screening and clearance exams for $12,000 will be discussed and the Council is expected to act on a request to hire summer help.
