Pawnee City School Board to Discuss Facility Improvements
03/16/2012

Planning for facility improvements will be the lone topic for the Pawnee City School Board during a meeting scheduled later this month.  The board plans to meet on March 26th to discuss some long planned and needed upgrades to the district facilities, and get a better idea what those improvements might cost.
Superintendent Stephen Grizzle says there are several facility improvements the district needs to make, and getting cost estimates will help the board prioritize what can be done.  (play audio  :31)
Grizzle explains some of the improvements that need to be made.  (play audio  :57)
Grizzle says they also would like to relocate office space to the first floor, update the science classrooms, and make the school more handicap-accessible.
The board has invited Jon Carlson of Carlson West Povondra Architects and Cody Wickham of D-A Davison to attend the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
