Easton Welcomes Home Soldier
12/13/2012

(KAIR) -- A soldier with Easton ties has gotten warm welcome from their citizens upon his return from overseas.

Private First Class Tyler Schultz has returned from a nine month tour in Afghanistan.

The Oskaloosa High School grad joined the military ranks two years ago.

The City of Easton earlier this year approved a “Welcome Home” banner in his honor for his arrival.

His grandmother, Sharon Tavis, says he was able to come home early, already making an appearance at one of his former schools.
