(KTNC) - The Humboldt City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the City Clerk’s office.
The meeting will begin with the administration of the oath of office to newly appointed Ward One councilman Jason James. James was appointed to the position to fill the remaining term of Mike Riley, who was appointed Mayor after the resignation of Jim McKim earlier this summer.
After James is seated on the council, members will elect a president.
The agenda includes discussion with HTRS School Board president Steve Schaardt about a drainage problem around the high school in Humboldt.
Discussion will be held on handicap ramps for the Lake Park Bridge, and planning council recommendations.
Valerie Binder is scheduled to meet with the council to request the use of city streets for the Booster Club’s run during the Richardson County Fair.
