(KAIR) -- The USD 409 school board approved both an application for a bond election this November and the publication of their 2012-13 budget.
The bond issue, to renovate the middle school gym and parts of the high school will be placed before voters in November.
Due to its refinancing nature, it’s not anticipated to alter the mill levy.
As for the budget, Superintendent Susan Myers describes this year’s budget proposal.

A public hearing on the budget will take place at a special meeting on the evening of August 20th at seven at the board of education community room.
Copies of the published budget will be available at the district office or in the school’s designated newspaper.
