USD 409 Superintendent Susan Myers reports a smooth close to the 2011-12 fiscal year for the school district.
The school board closed the fiscal year in a special meeting Thursday afternoon.
The board also conducted a self-evaluation, facilitated by Jim Edwards, Assistant Executive Director of Operations at the Kansas Association of School Boards.
Myers describes the evaluations.

The board then develops positives and negatives from the year and the constructs an action plan on how they can improve.
